Busy Bee Bakery
Welcome to the bakery! Here you can have a look at my bakes and check out some pointers!
Now, I may not be the best chef in the world, but I saw on the survey page that you like baking, so I gave it a go! Recently, I have been making bread. I have made bread rolls( a bit knobbly) 3 times and I also used the same recipe to make Munchy Mini Pizzas! They were delicious and they soon went! They were really fun and easy to make so why not give it a go? Also, a while ago I made a carrot sponge cake (as shown below) i'm surprised Carina didn't ask for some!! Click the images for more information.

I baked yummy scrummy bread at the weekend! They were delicious and really fun to see what shapes I could create!

Carrot Cake!
I designed this bright, carrot cake when I wasn't sure what to do. It was yummy with roll-out orange icing.

Busy Bee Cookies
I made these delicious biscuits a while ago. They tasted PERFECT!
Bread Recipe
You will need:
400-500g Bread Flour
1 Packet of yeast(2 teaspoons)
1tsp sugar
1tsp salt
250ml warm water(you may need a little more)

Method:
1.Put the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl.
2.Add half the water and knead, then add the other half until forms a smooth dough.
3.Leave the dough to prove in a bowl with cling film on top. Leave in a slightly warm place (by a radiator or on a windowsill if it's warm outside) for around 20-30 mins until expanded.
4.Knead again because the dough may have become a bit wet again.
5.Split into however many pieces you would like and mould into shapes of your choice. Place in a baking tray and cook in the oven for around 10-15 mins until slightly browned. Get an adult to help if you are a younger Busy Bee.
Your dough should have a similar consistency to this^^^

Easter Surprise cakes
These were easy and fun and have chcoolate chips inside that I made as a surprise! Will you be lucky?

Homemade Melt-in-the-mouth crackers
How to cook a sausage roll feast!
I came up with a fun idea to make some mini sausage rolls-both veggie and meat with a side of caesar salad! It was a great success and everyone loved how it all tasted! Here, I will show you step by step how to make these gorgeous rolls!
For the Sausage Rolls:
-
Roughly 375g Puff Pastry
Veggie:
-
Red pepper
-
Feta
-
Courgette
-
Onion
-
Grated Cheddar Cheese
Pork Rolls:
-
Packet of chipolata sausages
-
2 slices of toast
-
1 medium egg
-
Tomato ketchup
-
Herbs(optional)

-
Start off by preparing the veg. Wash the red pepper and slice into squares, wash the courgette and slice into small chunks. Peel and dice the onion too. Now put all the veg into a baking tray and drizzle well with olive oil. These need to roast in the oven for about 20 mins at 180 degrees.
-
Remove the skins from the sausages and place the sausage meat in a mixing bowl. Add an egg and the breadcrumbs from 2 slices of toast. Squeeze a bit of ketchup in too. Mix thoroughly and add a pinch of salt.
-
Roll out the puff pastry so it is thin but not too much so. For the meat rolls, squeeze a small amount of ketchup onto a thin strip of pastry. Mould sausage meat into roll shapes and place on the pastry. Wrap each side of the pastry over so it resembles a roll shape.
-
Add some grated cheese to the vegetable mixture and put chunks of feta cheese in to. Dollop a fair amount of the veg mix onto a strip of pastry and do the same as the meat ones. Brush egg on top of the rolls. Bake the rolls in the oven at 200 degrees celsius for at least 30 minutes.

For the Caesar Salad
-
bag of mixed salad leaves
-
Lettuce
-
Salad dressing
-
Slightly stale bread
Method:
-
Wash the lettuce well and chop up into strips.
-
Tear up the bread and place in a frying pan with some oil. Fry for a few minutes until cooked. these are your croutons.
-
Place the lettuce and salad leaves in the bowl and drizzle with dressing. Now add the croutons to the top. Voila!

Massive Muffins!
I made these scrummy muffins but I made a bit too much mixture-so they were huge! Delicious anyway! With melting choc chips they were simply mouth-watering!
